t’s almost time to celebrate the true north, strong and free! Canada day is around the corner and South Dundas has you covered with fun and entertainment for all ages.

The activities kick off at 11:00 a.m. at the Earl Baker Park & the Morrisburg waterfront and last all day until the grand finale of a world-class firework show! There is a wide variety of events occurring throughout the day including:

  • Chicken BBQ @ 5:00pm (Tickets required and on sale at park for $20)
  • Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sausages and Pizza
  • Bingo @ 11:30am
  • Fruit Pie Baking Judging @ 2:00pm
  • Face Painting
  • Bouncy Castle & Activities
  • Games for all ages

  • Bike Decorating Judging @ 12:00 pm
  • 7-16-Year-Old Chilli Cookoff Judging @ 2:30 pm (pre-register at Cooks Corners)

  • Live Music

There is no shortage of activities to keep the entire family busy throughout the day so whether you want to come jam out to some live music, taste some delicious barbeque or jump up and down on the bouncy castle, South Dundas can accommodate all three in the same great location. *We suggest avoiding the bouncy castle after eating though for obvious reasons*

What better way to end a great day with an even better evening? Cap off the day by sitting by the waterfront and watching the spectacular firework show.

Be sure to save some energy for Sunday because the fun does not stop after the fireworks! On Sunday, July 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The one and only Theodore the tugboat will be docked at the Morrisburg boat launch. Theodore Too is the life-sized 65-foot tugboat and is a working replica of the original TV character Theodore Tugboat from the beloved CBC series “Theodore Tugboat”. Be sure to come out and interact with the crew and see the world’s only Theodore Tugboat!
